Yes, I realize that I'm just now getting around to posting Easter pictures several weeks later, but things have been a little busy around here. In addition to the usual craziness, we've sold our house and will be moving in a little more than a month! We're very excited, and a little nervous - I'll share details and pictures of the new house once we're settled.
Anyway, Easter...The weekend started off with our annual shirtless egg-dyeing party at the grandparents' house on Friday evening. Brett actually stuck with it for more than 2.5 seconds this year!
On Saturday, Josh and I got a rare treat - a trip to Blacksburg sans munchkins to meet up with friends for the VT Spring Football game!
On Sunday morning, Brett and Shelby woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had indeed visited during the night, and apparently knows a lot about what they enjoy - the Easter baskets were a big hit.
That Bunny guy even hid eggs with candy in them in our living room!
Check out the cool new shades that the Bunny brought for Shelby!
After checking out the baskets and getting dressed, there were some semi-successful attempts at taking pictures of the kids in their adorable Easter outfits before we went to church.
Could this picture be any cuter?
Shelby loved all of the pretty pink flowers at church.
After church, we went to the grandparents' house for lunch, but first there were a few more semi-successful attempts at family pictures before everyone changed out of their fancy clothes.
Shelby was a big fan of the cake for dessert.
After lunch, we looked for Easter eggs in the yard. Once again, Brett was an egg-finding machine, and Shelby was content as soon as she found one with candy in it.
Happy (belated) Easter!
