Snow?!?!

Fall, meet winter.

 We learned that crepe myrtle trees are very bendy...this one surprisingly popped right back up after Josh shook the snow off the branches!

 Note to self...take down patio umbrella for the season a little earlier next year.

Snow in the Shenanadoah Valley isn't such a big deal...except when it happens on Halloween weekend.  Poor Brett thought he had somehow missed trick-or-treating and we had skipped straight to Christmas!
