Last night while I was playing with Miss Shelby on the floor, I decided to try some tummy time. Apparently she didn't want to be on her tummy, so she rolled over onto her back. What?? Yep, six weeks old and she rolled over. I think somewhere in my brain I was thinking "There's no way that just happened," so I put her back on her tummy...and she rolled over again! Shelby rolled from her tummy to her back three times in a row. When I put her back on her tummy for the fourth time she turned bright red and screamed until I picked her up. ("Mommy, I don't want to be on my tummy, darn it!")
As if that wasn't enough excitement for one night, we decided to try putting her in her crib in her own room to sleep last night (instead of the bassinet in our room), and the little darling slept for 7 hours straight! Merry Christmas, Mommy!
