Last evening, right before bedtime, I (Erin) put Shelby down on the floor for a minute so that I could get her breathing treatment ready, and she kind of lost it. She was pretty upset, and then all of a sudden she was quiet, which of course concerned me, but when I peeked around the corner from the kitchen this is what I saw:
Brett was reading books to Shelby to calm her down! (When I say "reading," by the way, I mean that he was turning the pages and reciting some of the books that he has memorized.)
Shelby was totally happy...
...and Brett was so proud that he helped. He's such a great brother.
