After we found the perfect tree (and trimmed a little off the top and bottom, because we were a little over-zealous with the height), we got to work decorating. It was really great that everyone participated this year!
After we got the big tree all set up, Brett and Shelby held a draft of the small ornaments for the trees in their bedrooms. It turned out that the draft wasn't really necessary, since all of the princesses ended up in Shelby's room, the Toy Story guys in Brett's room, and the Sesame Street characters and a few other random ornaments were split between the two of them.
